Shooting Stars with Piano

Shooting Stars With Piano is an annual concert that puts young artists from the growth stage in the spotlight and explores the many possibilities of the piano.

Five different artists are invited to each give a 20-minute taste of their musical universe. They have absolutely free rein in their performance with one leg span: the piano must be included in the music.

On the stage stands a Steinway grand piano, sponsored by Juhl-Sørensen A/S. An instrument often associated with the classical concert hall is played here across genres, expressions and musical constellations.

The evening features a diverse line-up across genres, genders and musical backgrounds. The audience gets five short meetings with new artists and the opportunity to experience how different the piano can be included in the music.

Shooting Stars With Piano was created to give young artists a stage and the opportunity to meet new musicians and industry professionals. At the same time, it is an invitation to experience the piano in new contexts — from the familiar to the unexpected.
