Girls' Conversations with Dagbogsskolen & Emilie Thalund

How is our view of ourselves shaped? And how can the diary become a place where we can insist on our own narrative?

In collaboration with Dagbogsskolen and film director Emilie Thalund, we invite you to an evening about the body and the look at ourselves. Starting with the diary as a performance-free, honest and investigative space, we explore how the young woman can be written forward with respect, care and curiosity. We focus on how inner life, experiences and bodily self-understanding can be placed on our own premises, and how writing can become a way of giving voice to what is otherwise often defined from the outside.

Through joint writing, diary exercises, readings and conversation, we open up to memories, bodily narratives, and new looks at ourselves.

With the series of conversations 'Girl Conversations', fabula focuses on the young woman and the experiences and stories that touch her.
