World's Best Conversations with Trine Oxvig, Tali Mørch & Teitur Larsen
Paradisæblevej 23, 2500 København

Where do we find community when life suddenly takes an unexpected turn? And what does it mean when some of our most important communities move online?

This evening we explore the digital communities that many people are turning to in order to find support, knowledge and cohesion. Together with Trine Oxvig, administrator of a Facebook group for relatives, sociologist and partner in Os&Data, Tali Mørch, and journalist Teitur Larsen, we move into the field of tension between people's need for community and the challenges that come with large parts of our social life taking place on private, online platforms.

Based on Trine Oxvig's personal story about creating a digital community when her daughter became seriously ill, we open up a conversation about the communities that arise when people share experiences, advice and support with each other online. at the same time, we look to the future and explore how digital communities can be developed outside of existing platforms. Here, digital communities are seen not just as technology, but as an important part of our shared social infrastructure.

Along the way, you are invited to contribute to the conversation with your own reflections, for which communities do you even seek courage when you need support?
