Sex can be amazing, terrifying — and sometimes quite confusing. For sex is not just one thing, but a vast hodgepodge of senses, emotions, fluids, postures and societal ideals. A thick, strawberry-flavored sauce that always seems to flow in a new direction.
In this conversation with author and sexologist Emma Libner, we dive into sexuality and take a curious look at sex, desire and fantasies and what we can learn from them. Boats, when they offer butterflies in the pussy, and when the party fireworks go off.
Because what is it really about sex that makes most of us seek it out, even when we don't always quite know what we're doing? How do you deal with your partner's desire when your own has decided to play hide-and-seek (and vice versa)? And why is it that what we turn on most at night is often the same thing we distance ourselves from during the day?
During the evening Emma will read aloud an excerpt from her latest book Thirsty. The book is a collection of texts based on conversations with a number of anonymous Danes about their sex lives for better or worse - ranging from the very first time to flirting in the canteen at work, sex parties and fumbles on the sofa on Tuesday nights.
Are you passionate about a question about sex, intimacy, desire or the like that you would like to have illuminated in the evening? So bring it and post it anonymously when we open up the live letterbox along the way.
